On Monday 29th June, Year 2 spent the day at Cotswold Wildlife Park as part of our ‘Africa’ topic. We spent time exploring a range of different animals native to Africa, investigating the types of natural habitats the animals live in. We discovered some of the natural behaviours these animals display. We heard lions roar, saw monkeys being silly and penguins chilling. We also got to see some of the plants Africa has that are a lot less common on our country such as cacti. The children had a lovely day exploring the park and would like to thank the park and the volunteers accompanying us for making the day possible!
